As early as tomorrow, the Florida Senate is slated to take up HB 7123 which robs voters of our constitutional right to decide. Our ability to determine our collective destiny at the ballot box is dangling by a very thin thread. The only thing standing between catastrophic destruction of our greatest public assets – our vote and our public schools is US.
Tell your senator that we reject HB 7123, because it usurps the will of voters. We do not approve of “reinterpreting” the 20 referendum votes recently held in districts across the state.
Florida, this is go time. Call, write & tweet the list of senators below! Our local vote must count. No politician has the right to steal our votes, claw back referendum dollars and spend them on something we never intended – corporate charters. Our most precious rights are at stake.
