Join us. Become an Educated Voter. Fund Education Now has created an easy-to-use tool on our website that includes an Education Report Card based on incumbent’s voting records, links to the candidate’s campaign contributions, top funding sources by industry and positions on education. View it here.
We each have one vote. Our kids desperately need us to make the best call for them. It’s high-time that we, the voters, make public education the litmus test for leadership in Florida.
The Educated Voter transcends party-driven rhetoric and delivers usable fact-based information to voters. Actions speak louder than words, so our Education Report Card uses voting records, not empty words, to define a candidate’s commitment to public education.
Take the time to determine whether a candidate will help or hurt our kids. Know who you’re inviting into your lives.
Make it your business to know who is getting your vote.
Step 1: Go to the website and click on your county page.
Step 2: Review the Education Report Card. Votes are deeds- they have lasting impact.

- Is education even mentioned on their site?
Be choosy. Legislators control every part of our children’s school lives from curriculum to testing. Their intrusive policies and partisan agendas wind up on our kitchen tables. Our kids can not afford legislators who are unwilling to lead on this issue.
None of us would ever dream of telling our kids to take a game-changing test without cracking a book. Each of us must lead by example. Before we cast the highest of high-stakes votes, each of us must become an Educated Voter. It’s our patriotic duty and moral obligation to our greatest legacy – our kids.
