Some of us hardly ever vote. Life often gets in the way of good intentions. Make voting convenient by voting early or voting by mail. Voting is your responsibility as an American citizen. You must do your part.
Remember, these are our children. This is their future. Teachers, parents, aunts, uncles and grandparents must stand side-by-side and speak for our kids.

When an incumbent consistently votes against public education, chances are there’s someone better for the job. The one true place where we still have standing as constituents is the voting booth. Voting is our only weapon against misleading 527 media campaigns funded with hundreds of millions of dollars paid by lobbyists and special interests to push their own agenda. We can’t allow ourselves to be played by all the hype. Our kids don’t stand a chance without us. It’s our job to protect them.
Each of us has one vote. Make it count. Know what you’re doing. The risk is too great to cast any vote in ignorance.
Next, look for the launch of our Educated Voter©. This tool contains much of the information you’ll need to arm yourself with knowledge. See how the candidates voted on education issues, learn what industries give them the most money and read their positions on education in our state.
Democracy is not a spectator sport. Each of our kids innocently believes that the adults in their lives will cast thoughtful, educated votes for them. We can’t let them down. Register. Learn. Vote.
